Place the craft sticks on the back of the hole and secure them with wood glue.

Tap the pry bar up under the undamaged siding at each nail shaft then push the bar gently. Fill the siding holes with wood filler. Mix it with just a bit of superglue. With luck the nails will pull out a bit so that when you tap the board back the nailheads will pop out just enough to get the pry bar under them.

Step 4 hold the knife roughly perpendicular to the siding patch to finish the surface of the patch and taper out the edges of the mortar patch blending it into the surrounding siding. Scrape away any excess with the putty knife when you re done and allow it to air dry. If your exterior siding has sustained damage you can patch it with filler but it has to be the right kind of filler. Any product intended for interior use will crack and wash out in short order. Use a putty knife to push the mixture into the nail holes quickly since superglue dries so quickly.
